Thursday in the Octave of Easter

O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name in all the earth!

Psalm 8:2

Lately the most frequent question I’m asked, and maybe even ponder myself, is how long before things get back to normal? Truth is I don’t know; we don’t know. This virus, this experience we’re having together as a world, reminds us there is so much we don’t know. Creation, however, is not a random place — it was intentionally created and us along with it. God walks with us today, God walks with us every day. He is the one that has provided every breath, every drop of water, every morsel of food we have ever consumed all while maintaining the vastness of the universe. Lord help us to trust and find our lasting peace in you. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
