Tuesday of the Seventh Week of Easter

Feast of Saint Philip Neri, priest

A prayer of thanks

Heavenly Father as this day begins we offer you thanks and praise.

At this time of year, in our area of the planet, the outdoors is just teeming with life in so many forms. The dawn greets us with the songs of the birds. The humming of the bees fill the air as they move from plant to plant. The trees are dressed in their finest greenery and the fruit trees are flowering, giving us hope for an abundant fall harvest. All these are but a few examples of your many gifts and Your great love for the interconnectedness of the created world.

Surrounded by these wonders may we be filled with awe, recognize your goodness, and remain confident that we are never out of your protective sight. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
